cat # MA-83-20

Elk cows are very valuable because without elk cows you don’t have order in the herd. There are cows that lead herds all the time, they are called lead or heard cows. I have seen them many times make the first move and the rest follow immediately. This is really a special thing in nature. Bulls do run the herd most of the time during the rut. They have to keep their cows in the herd from straying outside his protective court. The deeper you delve into it the more you realize that there is something much greater than we can perceive and it leaves it up to the imagination wonderfully. This cow is not actually a herd cow or lead, but is in transit just to get to another feeding area. It is absolutely a treat when you get to see the magnificent colors and the elk  - “Crossing”. Hope you enjoy it

  Thank you, David Wodiuk
